Those beautiful pictures were taken in the early morning after a movemented Friday night in Belgrade. Until now, i have been enjoying caffes, kafanas and bars in Belgrade, time to see what the nightlife has to offer. After a relaxed day spent partly next to the lake on Ada, i Joined Milian and Ana, two couchsurfers. They are hosting Birna, a young girl from Island who thinks that she will travel until she has no more money and that then, a tourist buro will take care of sending her home :) sorry Birna but i had to say this :)
We watched the game, tasted Milians grandfathers Rakjia, one of the best i tried so far, had a couple beers and went to eat some chiche at the fast food next door. Those fast food are real fast and popular, they offer good burgers (Pljeskavica) and this one also has chich. Delicious, fast and cheap.
Later, around 3am, Milian takes us to the borders of Sava where numerous Splav (some sort of artificial floating islands arranged to be clubs) are sitting next to each others. We chose one, Freestyler, get in, get the most expensive beer i will ever drink in Belgrade... Yell at each other trying to have a conversation, basically do what you do in any trendy nightclub :)
When we leave to check out if the music is any better next doors, it is impossible to get in anywhere...
So we wonder around, hence the picture of some old militia buses...
